It is with much regret that the board announces Campbell Albritton’s withdrawal from his nomination to the board at the present time. The board firmly believes that Campbell would have been a welcome, dedicated, talented and strong addition to the Board of Directors especially bringing in a voice from Section 5 which has been lacking.
This has been a learning process. One of the things learned is that the sole and only deciding factor in this matter is the name(s) on the deed. The board also recognizes that the pressures on Campbell, his partner Brienne, the Board and the HoA in general have created too much of a distraction from the work the board hopes and needs to accomplish in the coming year. The board will, as it has in the past, accept nominations following the HoA by-law and rules. Send nominations to the PMLE 567 email at [email protected]. Please be advised that this is the third and final reminder that we will be having our PMLE 5, 6, 7 Quarterly meeting in September. Please remember that this meeting is our annual vote for any members who may be running for the position of Board.
Meeting Type: In-Person Only Date: Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 Time: 10:00 AM Where: Delaware Township Municipal Building Address: 116 Wilson Hill Road, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328 To all,
We have just been advised by the Wild Acres HoA Board, that because of the tree clearing on the pipeline it will be necessary to open the emergency gate for a short period of time today. They have been reminded that our speed limit is 20 MPH and to turn left at the entrance into PMLE567. We will keep everyone up to date as we have it. A recent inquiry regarding parking was brought to the attention of the Board today. This was based on a specific need for a specific situation. The Board received a very thoughtful suggestion from a Member and replied with actions we believe, based on the replies, satisfied that immediate need for the member. However, this was not a new general parking policy discussion for the current drop off/ pick up Bus stop location. That said, there is merit to further discussion of the area's use going forward. The Board committed to the poster that this would be added to the agenda for the upcoming meeting to solicit other comments/discussions from the general community.
There are other considerations here. While we are a private community, there are also Town/County/State regulations that might need to be followed. The location was officially zoned by the Town for usage specially as it currently designated, not for parking. One of the first actions will be to see if changing that designation, in any fashion, adds more requirements. These may include, but not limited to: ADA requirements, additional insurance for the HoA (including costs to be borne by the membership), signage, etc. We have already started the process of obtaining more information. We ask that if anyone in the community has some experience or knowledge specific in these areas to please write the Board at our email address or by using the contact form here to volunteer. Again, we will make this an agenda item as promised. We hope everyone had a fun Labor Day weekend. Now that summer is waning and the kids are back at
school it’s time to look back at our community, plan for the future, and get ready for the next board meeting on September 23rd, 2023 . As usual it will be at the Delaware Township Municipal building at 116 Wilson Hill Road starting at 10 am. The board hopes you will come and take part in your community. Lately there’s been a lot of discussion on a variety of Facebook accounts about PMLE HoA board matters. Much of it has been mischaracterized and, like a lot of things with social media, seems to have taken on a life of its own. The board wants to address all concerns but believes the best place for this is at the board meeting. That said should you have specific concerns we would greatly appreciate hearing from you. You can email the board at [email protected] . We promise a response. The upcoming meeting is an important one. We will be introducing and voting on new board members, thanking Bob Simonson for his years of work on the board as he ends his tenure, and setting the agenda for what you want your board to be doing for you in the coming year. We look forward to seeing you. Please be advised that this is the first of three reminders that we will be having our PMLE 5, 6, 7 Quarterly meeting in September. Please remember that this meeting is our annual vote for any members who may be running for the position of Board.
