Additional Road Work - Second Round

Good morning PMLE. As our first round of road work is nearing completion (through the end of the week), we must alert you that the second round of road work (different vendor) will commence starting Friday, June 9th, 2023, weather permitting. That work is expected to take approximately 1-2 weeks. With this announcement comes a few reminders.

1. Traverse the roads conducive to the conditions, pedestrians, etc.
2. If any cones are put up they are meant to keep you and your vehicle off of the road, until the contractor deems necessary. When the contractor deems the road passable, they will remove cones and detours.
3. Take extra time, as there are quite a few roads being done within the community and you may face delays or detours. Your failure to plan should have the need to create dangerous situations for other motorists, pedestrians or the wildlife.
4. Posted speed limit is 20 MPH. If any roads are blocked off for lanes and if you are traveling a speed limit that's near the posted community limit, then you should be pretty safe on the roads.
5. Please remove your garbage cans from the road edges. This should be normal practice as it's in our by-laws/restrictive covenants.
6. During the time of road work, there will be no exceptions to vehicles being parked on the roads. The contractor(s) need to complete their work, without added complications. Please keep your vehicles and visitor vehicles in your own driveway.

Once this road work is complete, that will complete all road work for 2023, as stated at our June meeting. The quarterly newsletter will be out soon for all to review. Thank you and have a great summer.
